About this painting
A close friend once shared a simple phrase with me that stayed in my heart: "It is the sacrifice that makes it sacred." Those words became the inspiration for this painting.
I chose to paint only the Savior's hands because they say more than words ever could. The wounds in His palms are a witness of His infinite love and the price He willingly paid for each of us. They remind me that His sacrifice was deeply personal.
Whenever I look at these hands, I'm reminded of a simple truth: Jesus did this for me. He endured suffering, carried my burdens, and gave His life so that I could find hope, forgiveness, and peace through Him.
When you see this painting, I hope you pause for a moment to reflect on the Savior's love. May His wounded hands remind you that you are known, you are loved, and you were worth the greatest sacrifice the world has ever known.
