About this Painting
For a long time, I wanted to paint a piece that included both sunflowers and the Savior. Sunflowers have always seemed to bring joy wherever they go. They're one of those flowers that so many people love, including one of my closest friends, and I wanted to capture that feeling of warmth and light.
This painting was originally titled The Savior's Sunflowers, but as I looked at it, I realized the flowers felt more like a gift than something He was simply holding. The nail marks in His hands remind me that every good gift He offers us is made possible because of His sacrifice. To me, these sunflowers represent the hope, peace, and joy He longs to place in our lives.
When you look at this painting, remember that the Savior's promises are always filled with light. Even after life's darkest seasons, He continues to extend His hands, offering hope and the promise of brighter days ahead.
