I painted Teal Horse simply because I love horses and wanted to have some fun with color. Instead of using traditional horse colors, I worked with different shades of teal, blue, and green to give the piece a more creative watercolor feel.
I especially enjoyed letting the colors blend throughout the horse and background while still keeping the details and expression of the horse itself.
Sometimes a painting doesn't need a deeper meaning behind it. This one was simply about enjoying watercolor, experimenting with color, and painting an animal I love.
